Space and weight are two different limits.
A bin's cubic-yard size tells you about space, not how much weight is included in your rental. Ask Bin and Gone to confirm the accepted materials, weight allowance and any additional-charge terms for your specific load. Dense debris can reach a weight limit while the bin still looks partly empty.

What should the quote explain?
Ask how weight is assessed, what allowance applies and what happens if that allowance is exceeded. Request the units as well: tonnes, kilograms and pounds are not interchangeable labels. A clear quote should let you understand the agreed scope before you choose a date.
Also ask whether a change of material affects the arrangement. A quote for household clutter should not be treated as permission to add roofing shingles or a pile of tile. The acceptance decision and the weight terms need to match what you actually load.

Why do heavy materials need a separate conversation?
A bag of broken tile and a bag of empty packaging may look similar in size but behave very differently as part of a load. Describing only the number of bags can hide the information needed for a suitable rental. Name each dense material and explain roughly how much you expect.
Do not rely on a competitor's tonnage allowance or online package price. Those terms belong to that provider. This website does not publish a standard Bin and Gone weight allowance because the actual terms must be confirmed for the booking.
What if the project changes?
Pause before adding an unplanned material. Contact the provider with the updated list and ask whether the existing arrangement remains suitable. It may be better to separate loads, change the collection plan or use another approved disposal route than to discover a problem when the bin is ready to leave.
A couple of common questions.
Can I fill a bin to the top with concrete?
No such approval is implied. Concrete and other heavy materials require an explicit suitability decision. The current exclusions also prohibit cinder blocks. Do not book by cubic yards alone.
Does a half-empty bin mean I am below the weight limit?
Not necessarily. Visual fullness does not establish weight. Follow the agreed material and loading limits, and ask before adding dense debris.
